My first post as Authentically Anna!

With the start of a new year, both in the academic sense and in the sense that I just turned 29, I decided I wanted to start a new blog where I could express my passion for social justice and share my perspectives on particular topics. I also hope this can serve as a resource of sorts for young people with disabilities or their parents. I want this page to be a respite while we await the complete dismantling of ableism and the shame that society attaches to disability.

I am currently in my final year of law school, completing a concurrent JD and LLM in Sustainable International Development, but, even so, I hope to post a video or blog once a month at a minimum.

I am so excited to have the opportunity to express myself more creatively again and I hope to build a community of people with disabilities and our allies that is full of love, pride, and organizing for a more just tomorrow.
